A man was walking down the street with a very sour look upon his face when a stranger said, “Sir, it looks like you need to be thankful.” The man replied, “What do you mean be thankful? I don’t have enough money to pay my bills!” The stranger responded, “Well, you can be thankful that you’re not one of your creditors.”

Is it not true that we can always find something to be thankful for if we just take a moment to think? Thanksgiving should always be our attitude, no matter the pressure or problem we may be facing. The Apostle Paul challenges us with this command in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
