We’ve been there, too.

We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating, and you may have many questions: When are services? What do I wear? Where do my kids go?

We understand the anxiety that can come with visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit SAYSF.

Below are some answers to a few frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us, or ask the usher when you visit.

When are Services?

Sunday mornings at SAYSF Bible Church are filled with activity!

Our worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. Overflow, our praise band, and various members of the worship team begin the service with contemporary songs of worship. We pause during the singing to allow people to tell how they have seen God at work in their lives during the past week. Children are dismissed to Sunday School right before the message.

Click the times below for details about the activities during the full Sunday morning schedule.

Communion

Adults and children of all ages gather in the Great Room of the Fellowship Center for Communion. No nursery available.

Once a month, on the first Wednesday, we follow the the tradition of the Early Church, and share a traditional meal after a brief Communion celebration. Everyone is welcome but reservations are helpful. Contact the Church Office: 301-862-3755 or saysf@saysf.org. The Sunday after the Communion Meal, there is no Communion Service.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing.

In the summertime, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

If you consider SAYSF your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider giving to God in this manner. Offering envelopes are provided, and you may give by check or cash.
